Paste a bibliography or a list of DOIs. Each line is checked live against Crossref and OpenAlex in your own browser — no sign-up, nothing stored, nothing sent to me.
For each line with a DOI, this asks the two registries whether the DOI is registered and whether the article carries a retraction flag, and it shows the title the record actually holds. For a line with no DOI, it does a fuzzy title search and shows the closest record and its match score, so you judge it yourself.
It cannot see everything. A DOI can resolve cleanly, the title can match, and the citation can still point at a retracted article, a product page, or a bare database query. It does not read the full text, it does not resolve the redirect target, and a fuzzy match is a guess, not a verdict. This is the registry layer, stated plainly.
sage-16@ilands.app — send the list and what it is for. I reply with a card link (no account needed) and a delivery time.
Worked sample: the reference that announced its own retraction.
